ABOUT David Squires

Appointment to the Board:
David Squires joined the Board on 1 May 2015 and became Group Chief Executive on 1 June 2015.

Previous Experience:
David has a long-established career in manufacturing, for the most part having specialised in the aerospace sector. He brings extensive knowledge of the aerospace industry, other industrial markets and broad international experience, as well as understanding of supply chain and business development to the Board. David started his career in the Oil Industry working for Shell, then worked at Hughes Aircraft Company (now Raytheon), GEC-Marconi/BAE Systems, and Eaton Corporation. Prior to joining Senior plc, David was Chief Operating Officer of Cobham plc.

External Appointments:
David is an independent non-executive Board director of Mpac Group plc.

Qualifications:
David holds a BA in Business Management Studies. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply and a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society.

ABOUT Alpna Amar

Appointment to the Board:
Alpna Amar joined the Senior plc Board as an Executive Director on 1 April 2025 and became the Group Chief Financial Officer on 17 May 2025.

Previous Experience:
Prior to joining Senior, Alpna was the Corporate Development Director and a member of the Executive Committee of Kier Group plc (“Kier”).  Prior to joining Kier, she held a series of increasingly senior roles in the Industrial sector, including at TI Fluid Systems plc and also International Automotive Components Group, SA.  Earlier in her career, Alpna spent approximately 10 years advising listed companies, private equity and lenders on financial and operational change and executing it on their behalf.

External Appointments:
Alpna is an independent non-executive Board director of Chemring Group plc.

Qualifications:
Alpna is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor (Hons) degree in Economics and Politics.

ABOUT Andrew Bodenham

Andrew Bodenham, joined as Group Company Secretary in 2002. He acts as Secretary to the Senior plc Board and its Committees and also sits on the Group’s Treasury Committee.

ABOUT Launie Fleming

A US citizen, he has worked for the Group for over 20 years in a number of operational and executive roles.  He joined the Executive Committee upon his appointment as Chief Executive of Aerospace Fluid Systems in September 2008 and became Chief Executive of the Aerospace Division in October 2020.

ABOUT Amy Legenza

A US citizen, Amy became the Director of Risk and Assurance on 1 January 2023 and was appointed to the Executive Committee on that date having previously served as the Group’s Head of Risk and Compliance. A Certified Public Accountant, Amy joined the Group in 2008 and has broad experience in senior finance and accounting roles.

ABOUT Nigel Major

Nigel Major joined Senior in April 2024 as Executive Vice President Strategy, responsible for strategy, M & A, and technology leadership across the Group.  Before joining Senior, Nigel was Group Director, Mergers and Acquisitions at QinetiQ Group plc.  Prior to that he was Chief Strategy and Technology Officer at Laird plc.  His earlier roles included both developing and implementing strategy, leading M & A activities, and leading technology development.  Nigel has an MA in Maths from Cambridge University and a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from Nottingham University and worked as a research Fellow in Nottingham and Le Mans, France.

ABOUT Silvia Schwark

Silvia, EVP HR, joined Senior on 3 March 2025.  Silvia is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development; she has a wealth of experience in leading the people function in a range of global engineering and manufacturing organisations.

Silvia’s prior roles include the Chief People Officer at XP Power plc and other senior HR leadership roles at Mars-Inc, Tate & Lyle plc and Vesuvius plc.

ABOUT Mike Sheppard

A US citizen, he has worked for the Group for over 30 years and is the Chief Executive of the Flexonics Division.  A qualified engineer, Mike’s previous positions within the Group included operational roles at the two largest Flexonics businesses, Pathway and Bartlett.
